God’s Retributive Judgments of Pharaoh & Egypt

Abiding Testimony of Timeless Divine Justice

Judgment Five - Death of Camels, Cattle, Donkeys, Horses, Oxen, Sheep

(Exodus:9.3)

Jewish livestock was spared

This judgment pertained not to wild animals, like lions, tigers, alligators, or snakes, so prevalent in Africa to this day. Lost were domestic animals graciously given by God for human support and survival on earth. Removing them from Egypt signals a divine death sentence for Pharaoh society. May also signify sinful use of the animals by Egypt, but not Jews. To this day, Africa has been more a haven of wild animals, less a pasture of domestic animals.
